A 40 ft container provides roughly twice the floor length of a 20 ft unit and is often the best price per cubic foot. Standard-height units are 8 ft 6 in externally; high-cubes add one foot of exterior height. Plan the delivery route carefully: tilt-bed placement commonly needs around 100 ft of straight-line clearance.
