Return and refund policy

Before dispatch

An order may be canceled for a full refund before dispatch. “Dispatch” means the container has been assigned to a carrier and released from the origin yard. Contact (888) 214-7482 or info@xivstorage.com; we confirm status in writing.

After delivery

Eligible, unmodified containers may be returned when the buyer contacts us within 14 calendar days after recorded delivery and receives return authorization. Do not arrange a return without written instructions.

Eligibility

The unit must be the purchased unit, unmodified, not relocated or damaged after delivery, free of added contents, and available for safe pickup. Exclusions: cut-ins, paint, welding, electrical/plumbing, anchoring damage, contamination, unauthorized repairs, custom products.

Costs

Buyer pays return freight. A 10% restocking fee applies to approved buyer-remorse returns. The original delivery charge is non-refundable after completed delivery.

Process

  1. Contact support with order number and reason.
  2. Provide photos/documentation.
  3. Receive return authorization and pickup instructions.
  4. Make the empty unit accessible.
  5. Inspection after return.
  6. Refund to original payment method within 7–10 business days after inspection.

Damaged or incorrect product

Contact us promptly; do not modify or transport before instructions. We evaluate repair, replacement, return, or other remedies. Nothing limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
